Tricycle Steering
Would you get a tricycle for a 2-year-old?
I’m trying to decide if I should get one for my daughter’s 2nd birthday-in 2 weeks. The next big gift opportunity will be Christmas, and it won’t be good weather for riding bikes. We saw some at consignment sales and she climbed on and liked them, but she can’t do the pedals herself at this point. I was thinking of getting the kind with the long handle for the parent to use to steer and push (which comes off later). What do you think?
Yes. Two year old children LOVE tricycles! She will learn to pedal soon enough. Riding bikes is wonderful exercise and just plain fun. Make sure you get a helmet to go with it.
