Tricycle Special Needs
Is there any kind of financial aide to help assist a family to purchase a bike for a special needs child?
My son is 10 but has mental disabilities. I would love to purchase one of the new side by side tricycles out, but they cost over 1,000 bucks. I would love for him to be able to get out and enjoy the fresh summer air by having fun with one of these great trikes. I will be able to assist him in this type of bike. If anyone knows of any kind of financial assistant out there would you please let me know what it is and how to apply for it. Thank you all very much!
If he is registered with DDD (Disvision of developmental disabilities) the case worker may be able to help you out-there are different programs such as grants for home modification/respite care
