law on electric bicycles?
ive been looking into the law on electric bikes and ive seen ” Maximum continuous rated power output of the motor shall not exceed: tricycle – 0,25kW”
well to me that is say you cant have a motor more than 250 watts correct?
so whats wrong with 2 or more motors rated at 250 watts?
if you were to say build a electric bike with 2 or more motors at 250 watt output would that be legal? (if the bicycle keeps to all the other rules and regulations)

It would probably be legal, but the law renders it pointless. On electric bikes/tricycles, electric assistance has to cease at 15 MPH. In other words, the motor has to cut out at that speed. You can go faster, but you’d have to pedal.
