ATV, the abbreviation for "all-terrain vehicle" includes any type of small, open, motorized tricycle / buggy designed primarily all-terrain and carry one person – the driver. Riding an ATV has been likened to driving a regular motorcycle, unless wheels have to issue the pilot with more stability at slower speeds.

A Brief History of ATV

Although the exact date is not known, the first ATV designed with six wheels, was presented to the public sometime around 1950. However, this Honda has been enhanced by the production of the first three-wheel all-terrain, made famous when it was introduced in 1971 James Bond film – "Diamonds for eternity."

Shortly after the publication of three-wheeled ATV, the other formations are designed for recreational use. These improved models offered big balloon tires, but not mechanical suspension. It was not until the 1980s, the Low ATV tires and suspension have been introduced.

The models for different functions

The ATV quickly became in a favorite hunting mode of travel to the United States and Canada. This popularity is due in large part to its ability to travel on the ground than other types of vehicles could not even consider crossing.
