I want to know if you can attach one of those child Bicycle Trailers to an adult tricycle?
I am planning on buying an adult tricycle, its been a very long time since i have ridden a bike, so i saw these new adult tricycle and i felt really safe and secure on it. So i thought that would be the best for me, but i have three small children and would need a one of those child trailers for it so that we can go together, when we go bike riding. But i’m not sure if they can attach to a tricyle also in anyway or is it just for regular bicyles, because i would hate to spend alot of money on these things and for it to not work out. I would really appreciate any help in finding an answer thanks
Most child trailers are attached left hand side of a bicycle. They either attach at the axle or clamp onto the chain stay. Neither of these would be any good on a tricycle. When turning left the arm will rub on the wheel. You could get one customised with a central towing point. (a bit of a hassle though)
There are a few that attach to the seat post but this will limit you to two in the trailer.
Giant make a type that is normally attached to both sides of the rear axle. The mounts can be easily modified to attach to a trike.

I have also seen a trike that had three child seats mounted on it with a custom made frame.
