Harley Davidson Tricycle Bike
I am looking for a beginner motorcycle.?
I am 24, 6’2 235 lbs and i am looking for a good starter bike. I have had a wide range of offers ranging from the Harley Davidson Iron 883 to a Kawasaki zr6. i am not picky on if it is a cruiser or a sport bike but i really want a bike. Bias has played a major role in people opinion like “only real men ride Harley’s” or “sports bikes are for little boys” but this is going to be a cheaper solution than driving a gas drinking truck to and from work and school. So any advice on a bike would really be appreciated, and also what CC because i do not want to look like a fat man on a tricycle.

Well, biased or not… When I was pumping $125 a week for gas, My first bike (in my price range) was a Korean made Hyosung Aguila GV250, $3800 new with only 8 miles. I rode poker runs and even rode a leg of Run For The Wall. I now call it my spare. After riding the 250 for a year, I decided I wanted more power. I searched Craig’s list for a bigger bike in my price range, about $5000 to $6000. There were many of all brands. I chose a 98 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Classic. The choice was not because it was a Harley but in my price range since I negotiated down to $5500. So, I say look at Craig’s list for your area, pick some you like (regardless of the brand name), in your price range and go check them out. You can always upgrade later. Good Luck. Ride Safe.
