Digital Bicycle Speedometer
Honda XR100 Street-Legalisation?
I am about to purchase a 1980s Honda XR100 (the one with a front drum brake) and I want to street-legalise it. It has a title and all the paperwork and runs very well for what it is now. I can put a mirror on it easily, but it also requires a headlight, rearlight and speedometer. I do NOT want turn signals or a battery, this must be kept simple. What can I do to get a working headlight+on/off switch, and a brake light+switch? And can I swap the front wheel for one with a mech. speedo input? (in order to have a standard speedo instead of a bicycle or digital one).

Where do you live? That has everything to do with answering this question. Where I live you will never get a tag for a XR100. And they do not come with a ‘title’. What you have is most likely a ‘certificate of origin’ or some kind of ‘off-road title’. That usually won’t get you a tag.
