Ideas for making a cheap bike trailer?

I have an old 4-wheel radio-flyer that I would like to make into a bike trailer. Does anyone have any experience or ideas that could help me in my quest?

I have no specific ideas but I would start by going to the local hardware store and finding some clamps that you could use to attach it to the frame. Remember that it has to clear the back wheel and has to be able to turn/flex. You may also want to consider better wheels because once you get over say 8-10mph I would imagine that the radio flyer wheels would start bouncing around like crazy. I would suggest getting inflatable tires. Maybe some wheels from old children’ s bikes. You may need to extend the axle to fit them. Sometimes you can find ideas on www.instructables.com Check out your local craigslist too. I found an old baby trailer that I have tinkered with to haul stuff around in and it works great. I have seen em as low as $40.
