whats the best way to rescue an old leather jacket?
i have got an old leather bike jacket back from a mate. its very well used and worn in beautifully. it smells a bit musty though and the leather could do with a bit of tlc. its too heavy for the washing machine, is there anyway to freshen it up without it loosing any of its broken in charm

Clean up the leather with leather cleaning wipes (either sold in the household or automotive aisle.)
sprinkle baking soda in the inside of the jacket and let that absorb. Shake that out and repeat as necessary.
