Bike Frames Road
Is a time trial Bike Frame too different from a road bike frame.?
I am thinking a building a road bike. Can i start with a TT frame? What about the confort of TT frame for long rides. are they much different at the frame level?
It really depends the the actual frame. Some TT bikes are little more than converted road bike frames.
Others are optimized in every possible way for TT. These bikes may have highly shaped frame tubes, very aggressive geometry, aero forks etc that aren’t very good for a general road bike.
If you have a frame that’s not too wild you should be fine to use it for road.
