Bicycle Floor Stand
Is this a sufficient beginner workout plan?
You all here seem to be pretty knowledgeable about exercising. Can you offer me some feedback on my workout? Thanks in advance!
Goals:
-Simple, no-nonsense workout which works every muscle in some way or form
-Strength building
-Cardiovascular health
Non-goals:
-Body building
-Long drawn-out routine
Plan:
Day 1 (upper body):

1.5 mile run
Push-up routine (perfect pushup)
Pull-up routine (iron gym)
Bench presses
Arm curls
Tricep extensions
Day 2 (lower body):

1.5 mile run
Abs (floor exercise – leg lifts)
Abs (floor exercise – bicycle)
Squats
Abs (bench – sit-ups)
Calf raises (standing on tip toes)

It depends on what kind of equipment you have… If possible try and get a push-pull routine to keep everything even. For example: with bench press, you can do rows and for squats you should do hamstrings…. again it all depends on what you have to work with
