Bike Burgler Alarm Remote Magic!!?
Hi Folks, I’ve installed a burgler alarm in my bike & i have a remote control for that to lock and unlock. Last night my relative told me , we can operate this remote control as far as 150 mts. (100 mts is the given radius for operation). He did so by directing the remote control to his head and to all our astonisment it worked. He placed the remote on the other parts of body but it didnt work. But when placed on head it worked. It worked for me also. He said he saw this in Discovery channel. Can someone tell me the reason behind this?

Ya some kind of directional amplifier stuff i guess. No, we werent facing the bike at that time (not in line of sight). In fact we were perpendicular to the bike.
Vaguely remember something about the head acting as a directional amplifier for certain frequencies.
Of course, you were both facing the bike at the time?
