Im 5’9″ tall will a bicycle with 26″ wheels be ok for me ?
You want the correct frame size, the tire size doesn’t matter unless you are under 5 ft. For a mountain bike take your inseam X .59 to get the correct frame size. Fit is very important for comfort reasons. You want a 2 – 4 inch clearance when you stand over the bike. Walmart and other department stores only carry one size fits all bikes and they are cheaply made. Visit the local bike shop and get fitted for the proper bike. For road, hybrid and comfort bikes take your inseam X .65 to get the proper size.
