Bicycle Stand Storage
Anyone have creative ideas to lock up a bicycle?
I recently moved to a building with no Bike Storage and nothing to lock a bike to. We have a wooden storage cabinet above our parking space. Is there any kind of hook we could screwn into the wooden cabinet to have something to lock the bike to, or is there any sort of “free standing” Bike Lock type object that anyone has used in a parking garage before? We have the actual chain and lock, just need ideas of what we can create to lock it to. Thank you!
If you can’t bring it in, remove the seat and front wheel, this makes the bike less appealing to steal.
I like McG’s bear idea, but it sounds like you have space issues so I’d get a striped kitty cat (ie. a skunk) to keep with the bike. And if it does get stolen it will be easy to trace down.
