Bicycle Rims & Wheels for a 47cm frame?
I recently just received a used bike with a 47cm frame with:
Rims: Weinmann CN-520, 36H, Stainless Spokes
Tires: 700 X 28c
I know the frame is perfect for me because I’ve ridden 47cm bicycle before, but what can I do to make my ride more comfortable? What type of rims, tires & wheels are best for riding. I am 4″8.

The rims & wheels together make the bicycle taller and harder to hop on & ride.
If a bike is designed for 700c wheels, you can’t put smaller wheels on the make the bike lower to the ground. First, a smaller size wheel won’t line up with your brakes, the brake pads would be hitting the tires. Second, lowering the bike would bring the pedals too close to the ground, you would run a real danger of the pedals hitting the ground when you lean into a corner. At your height, you need a bike designed for smaller wheels
