Bicycle Pants
How should an artist’s model pose for a class of teenagers?
I usually model nude for the adult classes learning anatomy and gesture drawing. But for teens it is considered inappropriate. So, how can I accomplish the same effect while remaining within the cultural guidelines imposed? Shorts? Bicycle pants? Wifebeater undershirt? Any ideas?

A bikini or speedo type suit. One could go with a thong, but, even you have considered the chuckles the thong might genereate.
However, pretty much everyone has been to the pool or beach and seen men in skimpy swimwear. The point of a high school level art class is to get practice translating the shapes and contours of the human body from a live model onto paper. Any garment that tends to alter the body or break up the contour shape would not be as effective. That leaves out shorts, bike pants and even the T shirt.
But in any case, teenagers of either gender are going to go through a few minutes of giggles and discomfort at seeing your flesh. Don’t worry. The teacher will soon get things under control, or send the most disruptive ones out of the classroom.
