how does the clutch work on an 80cc bicycle engine kit?
I purchased one of these kits and I set everything up, it all works except the clutch
I set the clutch up how it said but it is still always in drive and will start the engine when I pedal… is it in neutral when the clutch lever is pulled in? or let out? should there be any slack?
Hello it sounds to me like you have to much tension on the clutch cable the way it works is when you pull in the clutch the moter goes in to neutral you start to pedal then let go of the clutch lever and the engine will start if its starting with out you holding in the clutch in there must be to much tension on the cable good luck hope that helps
