I found the Solution to Global warming.?
http://blogs.yorkschool.com/yorkstudents/fmoretzsohn13/2010/10/19/the-energy-of-the-furure/
So I was looking at this blog and I had a prett good laugh. But still, why wouldn’t some of these work? Like the magnet wagon and stuff? I know how the obvious ones wouldn’t (the bicycle) but what about the others
I visited the link and found the ideas interesting. Truthfully they are not viable. I will address each proposed use for magnetic energy and state why they would not be workable as they are presented. First, a magnet that would move a vehicle(be it a car, van or truck) would have to have magnetic energy strong enough to move the size of vehicle being moved, and no person could hold a magnet that size. Second, the magnet propelled turbine. Magnetic attraction is such that like magnetic poles repel and opposite magnetic poles attract(North and South magnetic poles attract each other, for example, and North repels North and South repels South). Certain metallic substances and surfaces are not affected by magnetic energy, and that presents another problem. As far as flying by attaching a metal plate to your shoes and holding a magnet in each hand, that would only pull your hands towards the metal plate and not give you any lift required to fly. Check out Bernoulli’s principles necessary for flight. Now, if an aircraft could possibly ride along the magnetic currents of the earth, flight via magnetic waves has potential. However, any place on Earth where the magnetic attraction ceases the aircraft flying on magnetic power would crash, such as the North Pole, unless someone had coils that could store magnetic energy for sustained flight, and with all the variables that is unlikely. In flight as in many things in life, simplicity is the key.
