how can i lose weight with the limited accessories i have?
i have never exercized in my life and im overweight (in a good way lol) i want to know if its possible for me to lose weight with the limited items i have such as dumbbells, bicycle machine and what should i eat in order to help the process?
Dumbells and a bicycle are a great start. Try biking at least 4 days a week for 30 minutes to start.
As for the dumbells, make sure to do your research on how to do strength training exercises correctly. Injurys are common if you don’t know what you are doing. 2 days a week is generally the recommendation as far as those exercises are concerned. Don’t work the same muscle group two days in a row!
Other equipment-free cardio ideas (besides the bike)- walking, running, jumping jacks, swimming (if you have access), dancing, basically anything that gets your heart pumping.
Two very helpful ingredients when you are trying to lose weight: fiber and protein. Try to include a little of each at every meal. Sources of fiber: fruits, veggies, whole grains, oatmeal. Sources of protein: lean cuts of meat (nothing fried, obviously), egg whites, skim milk, light yogurt and cheese, nuts (almonds are a good choice).
A treat here and there is perfectly fine, just have treats in moderation.
