So, you wanna spend $1300 to $1900 on a two wheeler, huh?
Have I got a deal for you. LOL That was supposed to sound used car salesman-ish.
You have a wide pallet of bikes in that range. I would be shopping for the best deal of bikes with similar components. They are so much alike anyway.
In that price you can find anything from an aluminum frame with carbon fork and stays to entry level full carbon. I would rather buy an aluminum or even cro-moly steel with the best components for the money.
If you got a steel bike with full Ultrega — for example, it would be a superior bike in my mind than an aluminum, or carbon frame with Tiagra.
If I were going to be spending $1900 on a bike now it would be a Schwinn Peloton with 105 group or better yet Performance cycle has Schwinn Peloton Pro’s on sale for $1800. Thats a Carbon frame, Sram Rival group and Mavic Aksium Wheels. I have test ridden them and I happen to really like that machine.

There are many examples, Trek, Fuji, Cannondale, Specalized, Felt, Bianchi to name but a few. You need to shop around now that you’ve set your price point and look for a left over 2007 (or there are some 2006′s still to be found – yes new.) and make your best deal. Don’t be afraid to try to talk them down. They need to move that inventory.
